Tap the “+” icon to create a new map and choose the Based Upon… option: Once the text is on the clipboard, it can be pasted into the current map as a new branch or create a new document with the pasteboard contents. The lines are automatically converted to new nodes and indents are evaluated as child nodes. I create a plain text outline in any other iOS app and then copy and paste into iThoughts. For example, I also like to work in plain text lists and so do my collaborators.
